The purpose of the Crisis Closet is to be of service to the churches of SJBA by offering a place where they can refer people in need of food (non-perishable food) and clothing, so that once these basic needs are met, the church can then follow up on the spiritual need of the client.
Our churches donate food and clothing. Several churches have committed to collecting food and clothes for a specific month each year. The monthly list is included. If your church is not on this list but would like to be, please contact the SJBA office. There are some churches on the list who would like to have a partner church, so don’t let a full calendar scare you off.
